About
I'm Ryan. I live here.
Fruitvale local. I bought my first house in Trail in 2008, and real estate has been my life ever since.
I raised my daughter in this community. I know the people and the way of life here, because it's mine too.
When I'm not working you'll find me on one of the golf courses around here, out on the boat on the lakes and rivers, or at home with my wife and our dogs. I also recently joined the Colombo Lodge, the Italian club in Trail that's been around since 1905.

My story
Why I do this
Real estate's been my life since 2008.
It started with my first house in Trail, back in 2008. Since then I've bought, renovated and rented out homes and run a contracting and renovation business. I held a real estate licence from 2016 to 2017 and managed properties from 2022 to 2023. I've stepped away from both to do this. Investor, contractor, landlord - you name it, I've done it.
Mortgages were the next logical step. I know these markets, I know how to buy and invest in real estate, and now I get to help people finance their own, with the numbers laid out plainly before they sign anything.
Selfishly, it suits me too. I set my own schedule, and most of the work happens by phone and online, so I'm not tied to a desk. It fits my life, and it lets me do the part I like most: helping people get into a home with a mortgage that fits them.

Why the Kootenays
Why here
I know the towns
Trail, Rossland, Fruitvale, Castlegar, Nelson and Salmo each buy differently. Shift work, acreages, ski-town suites, heritage homes. I know what comes up.
You can reach me
I'm a phone call away, not a 1-800 number. If we need to meet, I'm local.
I'll still be here
When your renewal comes up in five years, you'll be talking to the same person.

After you close
I don't disappear
After you close
Renewal Countdown
I track your renewal date. At six months, four months and three months out, I check in, compare your lender's offer with the market and tell you straight whether to stay or switch.
After you close
The Yearly Walk-through
Once a year, fifteen minutes on the phone. What's changed, whether a prepayment or a refinance makes sense, and whether you're still on track for what you wanted.
The brokerage
Who I work under

Working through a brokerage means I can compare options from more than one lender, instead of offering one bank's products.
Got a question? Ask it.
Fifteen minutes on the phone usually clears it up. No pressure.
