Not in the Kootenays? No problem.

I live in the West Kootenays, but I can help you anywhere in British Columbia. Phone, video and e-signatures cover almost everything.

Living here

What's it like?

Buying in the Okanagan, on the coast or up north works the same way. Same rules, same lenders, same process.

If you're moving to the Kootenays from somewhere else in BC, I can help on both ends.

What I'd watch for

Buying in Anywhere in BC: the details

  • How it works remotely

We talk by phone or video. Documents go through a secure application, not email. Your lawyer or notary can be local to the property.

  • Moving here for work

Relocating for a job at Teck, the hospital or the college? A new job can still qualify. Lenders mostly want your offer letter and any probation details.

Questions

Asked about Anywhere in BC

Do I need to meet you in person?

No. It can all be done by phone and video.

What documents should I get ready?

For most people: photo ID, a job letter, two recent pay stubs, your last two years of T4s or Notices of Assessment, and 90 days of statements showing your down payment. Self-employed files need a bit more.

Can I renew or refinance with you if I'm not moving?

Yes. Renewals and refinances work the same way wherever you are in BC. Start about four to six months before your renewal date so there's time to compare.

Buying in Anywhere in BC? Let's talk.

Fifteen minutes on the phone usually clears it up. No pressure.
